Following the war, the earliest confirmed catalogue appearance of the Elmar 90mm f/4 is found in the U.S. catalogue No. 1348, November 1948. The lens is listed as “Elmar 90mm., F:4 Lens, coated, for Leica Cameras”. This confirms that the lens had become available in a coated version. The assigned codeword is ELNIM, with code number 65,671. The listed retail price was USD 155.40.

Although the Elmar 90mm f/4 remained in production for many years before and after the war, the final confirmed catalogue listing appears in the European price list of June 1965 (Unnumbered).
