About This Project
This site documents Leica lens codewords directly from original catalogues and price lists rather than from later reference books.
By comparing catalogues published in different countries and languages between 1931 and 1965, it is possible to trace changes in lens specifications, product descriptions, finishes, codewords, and numbering systems.
Original catalogue wording has been preserved whenever possible.
Bibliographic Overview of Leica Catalogues
This database currently includes more than 50 catalogues.
It covers catalogues and price lists published between 1931 and 1965, in multiple languages and regional editions.

• Types: General catalogues, price lists, dealer catalogues, lens-specific booklets
All entries are based on primary source materials. Original titles and descriptions are preserved as printed.
While every effort has been made to ensure accuracy, any corrections or additional information are welcome.
Catalogues without a printed catalogue code are marked as “Not Listed in Catalog.”

収録対象は、1931年から1965年にかけて刊行されたカタログおよびプライスリストであり、複数の言語および地域版を含む。

収録内容はすべて一次資料に基づき、タイトルおよび記述は原文の表記をそのまま保存している
正確性には万全を期しているが、誤記等があればご教示願いたい。
なお、カタログコードの記載がないものについては「Not Listed in Catalog」として扱う。
